What have I been up to since '69?
After high school I went into the Navy, did a tour of Vietnam aboard an aircraft carrier, released from active duty in '71 from Bremerton , Wa., came back to Cudahy, went to work at Patrick Cudahy (HR and Sausage Dept), left PC to work at Mt Sinai Hospital in Milw., left the hospital to work at International Harvestor in Milw., left employment there and went to Shlitz Brewing Co. After 6 months employment, I heard the plant was to close. Decided to move to California. Started working at the University of California, San Diego. Stayed there for 4 years, met my 1st wife, moved back to Milw. Went back to work at Mt. Sinai Hospital, got married, had my son, moved back to California 18 months later. Went back to work at UCSD. I've been there for over 31 long years. Got divorced in 1990 and married to Irene in 2000. Bought a lot, planning to build shortly, on a lake in northern Wisconsin.
Looking forward to retirement in a few years. I think I'll be a snowbird. Boy, no wonder why I'm tired. I've been too busy.
